FORMER OFFICER LAWLOR FILES SUIT AGAINST CITY, GO TO IT ROSIE

It's been a long day, it's late and I'll write more on this tomorrow.

But the bottom line is that Former HPD Officer Robert Lawlor has filed a lawsuit against the city.

Read the basics below.

LAWLOR Summons and Complaint

  1. The indemnification laws are clear and just like Officer Murtha's case this will be a slam dunk win for Officer Lawlor.

Sadly, most Hartford politicians operate on an emotional level (like children) and not an intellectual one (mature adults) so will waste hundreds of thousands of dollars fighting this and paying out even more in the end.

  2. ....and Secore and Nolan will probably both be following suit. Lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit. It's going be open season on the City of Hartford.

  3. Roger,

It's not so much "open season" as it is ignorance and incompetence on the part of John Rose and Eddie Perez and their terrible decisions.

But they think they have unlimited resources funded by the taxpayers.

The labor board has already ruled on the Secore case... John Rose has chosen to ignore their decision.

Murtha offered to settle for far less than what he will be awarded in the end...the City chose to ignore the offer

Judge Peck ruled on the 5th District suit...John Rose knows better than Judge Peck and has no problem appealing what is now, or should be, a dead issue.

The list goes on and on.

John Rose should be sued by the people of Hartford for malpractice

But then again, with no leadership or accountability, he can do whatever he wants.

And you are right, Secore and Nolan will most likely make out well in the end
