Many of you, myself included, have been awaiting the release of the outside investigation of the Hartford Police Department which has become known as the "Rudewicz Report". The lead investigator is retired HPD officer Frank Rudewicz, now an attorney with Marcum Associates.
From what sources are telling me, a draft of the report was submitted to the City of Hartford Corporation Counsel this week and the city requested a few clarifications/changes to be made in the final report. The changes were supposed to be completed quickly and from one source I am told the report is expected to be submitted most likely by Monday at the latest.
It is interesting how the timing worked out for its release after the primary. Hmmmm.
Clarifications ? City of Hartford Corporate Council ? Wow, that is quite interesting. They are better off having Kermit the frog make suggestions now at city hall.......
ReplyDeleteHey kevin, the picture of the missing time card files should be the cover page of that report. I wonder if they will cover everything up or let the thieves burn ........50/50 odds
ReplyDeleteIt makes no difference to me when it is released, since it was ORDERED by the City and paid for by them about investigating a city department. The report isn't an objective analysis of anything since it was bought and paid for by City Hall. The fact that City Hall can "command" changes in the report indicates to me that the "fix is in".
ReplyDeleteThe report was timed to be relased after the primary...what do expect? If you are looking for honesty, integrity and loyalty...go buy a dog.
I will have a extremely hard time believing anything that the report says.
The report should expose the command staff for what they are bullies and thugs. The upstairs carpet needs a good cleaning. So now that Pedro knows that he has a 100 to 1 advantage over Vargas after the primary there is no need to hold onto a lame duck Chief and his command or lack of command staff. Oh and by the way council man Ken Kennedy got pulled over after the Nappier incident fir violating a traffic control device, and instead of apologizing for violating the law he accosted the officers by immediately trying the intimidation route by stating " I hope this won't be another nappier incident". As a public official how dare he act in such an ignorant manner. Needless to say he was issued a warning for the traffic violation.
ReplyDeleteKennedy was on his way to visit his illegitimate child.
ReplyDeleteSegarra you liar just Like Minnie Gonzales and their crooked squad stole this primaries you sumbags are dragging this city to a disgrace.
ReplyDeleteKevin: I do not understand why the Office of the Corporation Counsel reviews this report and has changes made. Am I incorrect or was this report supposed to be independent of politics or influence? I had really hoped and expected better!
ReplyDeleteMike,
ReplyDeleteThat has to be the most asked question from people that have contacted me.How does Corp Counsel determine the content of the report? Shouldn't it be submitted "as is" and taken as that. To change or clarify or whatever you want to call it would seem to compromise the overall integrity of the report.
I would think it would be up to the City to clarify anything they want after the report was submitted, but what was changed that we will most likely never see?
