During the course of the investigation , it was determined that Patterson had over 69 firearms registered to him. For the safety of the individual receiving the threats and as required by law, HPD Officers asked to view the weapons and attempted to seize the weapons. Upon being shown the weapons, HPD officers became concerned over the way the weapons were being stored.
According to sources, the majority of the weapons were laid out on a bed in the same bedroom that Patterson's seven year old slept in an adjoining bed. Sources also said that children's toys were in the same area as the loaded weapons.
Patterson also apparently had an empty gun safe in his basement. Why it was not being used is unknown
Patterson was arrested on numerous charges and according to sources, the case will be referred to DCF for child endangerment issues.

Mr. Patterson is an avid gun collector whom had ambitions of opening a firearms store. There is more to this story I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteThe chickens have finally come home to roost. His uncle must be so proud of him.
ReplyDeletePedro thought highly of him and was considering promoting him.Maybe Pedro still will.
ReplyDeleteGuess firemen want trigger time.
ReplyDeletePatterson has been a piece of crap since the day he was hired and most likely many years prior. He has sexually harassed admin staff but it was always swept under the table. His connection to his scumbag uncle Bobby Richardson was the only way he could get hired on this job. Richardson was in bed with the corrupt HR Director Patricia Washington who was known to fixing entry and promotion exams for useless minorities who could not get promoted on their own merit such as Darren Hudson, Mike Smith and of course Terry Waller. Patterson you should do the city a favor and stay in jail where you belong.
ReplyDelete1) What group is he on?
ReplyDelete2) Where's the overtime?
3) I'll work!
My guess is that Uncle Bobby has quite a stash of guns down in South Carolina. I didn't see many long guns in the HPD evidence photo. Many of the military ammo cans in the picture appear to be for rifle ammo. Maybe everything banned by CT found it's way into a car trunk and down to Uncle Bobby?
ReplyDeleteTo Anonymous at 5:27: Mr. Patterson's ambitions are admirable. Hopefully he has passed them on to his seven year old, who can set up a combination lemonade/firearms stand to raise bail money for his dad.
ReplyDeleteWow, 50 caliber tracer ammo! I dont see a rifle that chambers that round in the picture.
ReplyDeleteLots of 556 for the AR in the picture.
Dont see a rifle that chambers 7.62 either.
There are quite a few very nice, high powered rifles missing from the picture. Bring'em back Uncle Bobby!
Cabelas must be proud seeing his mug shot while he is wearing his Cabelas work shirt too.
Yet another black eye for HFD. Very Sad.
Nothing about the other FF from 14's who started trouble last week?
You mean Caldwell? The same guy that constantly comes to work intoxicated? The same guy the Deputy Chiefs allow to go home because he's drunk? The same guy that HPD says come pick-up one of your own, he's passed out drunk on a city street still in uniform? The same guy who is belligerent and likes to pick fights with everyone? The same guy that comes to work so intoxicated that he craps himself and on the stairs of Engine 14, and then has the nerve to start a fight with the Officer when confronted claiming "I didn't do it but I'll clean it up". Nope, never heard of him. Hopefully the rumers are true that he had to go have a blood test while on duty to see just how intoxicated he really was. I'm betting on the "he took cold medicine" battle-cry which is always used to justify his behavior. Time will tell.
ReplyDeleteIs this the same fool who carries a bottle of Listerine around all the time? Same guy who leaves a bottle of Listerine on the fire engine all the time? Same one the D/C's are always covering for? Wait until he comes back into the firehouse drunk and hurts somebody. whoa the lawsuit against the city someone is going to have. Yet another guy who won't get fired.
ReplyDeleteay... its levine albert. why wont you post my comment... seems like all the racist white people can say what they want... and you post it right away. keep that redneck filter turned off. plenty of white people on the jobs are abusers of injury a.. fake claims they they get hurt on the job... also drink at work... also pay for park street hookers.... should i drop some irish names?
ReplyDeleteKevin , I,m begging you to please respond to me!!! Do you still think hiring those who reside in Hartford are a significant asset to the city?????? Chiefs on down to privates are costing you a lot of MONEY!!!! So where's the benefit?
ReplyDeleteThe case of incompetent promoted FF like Mike Smith who runs a personal garage out of the city's garage, who disaapears hours on end during work... FF go to the garage and have to call him.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous Levine Albert,
ReplyDeleteif that is your real name, I will post your comments when you learn to write without the vulgar language. Referring to female firefighters with the "c" word will never be posted here so clean up your act if you want your comments posted
Anonymous @10:08 AM
ReplyDeleteMinister Mike's church allows him to do whatever he wants. So does the 3rd floor (meaning ADMIN). Lots of shady stuff going on at HFD machine shop. Molar Express is the BOSS!
There are still Irish people on the job? Oh yeah, I don't hear about them because they come to work, do their job, and stay out of trouble. Should hire more Irish.
ReplyDelete9:14am poster, are you nuts or just dilusional? No one at 11's wants to work with Levine. He's a menace. He's a total rube. The captains at 11's went to Huertas about not feeling safe working with him and they were threatened with being transfered before Levine is. Ask the training officers about his performance in the tower drill. His comments were "rich" when asked how he was doing / whats going on regarding his stellar performance. His co-workers wanted him to have a mental competance exam because he's out in left field half the time. Our wonderful union like always sticking up for the screw-ups on the job, stuck up for him and stopped it.
ReplyDeleteFor you non city residents, here's the deal. The Public Works dept used to be the dumping ground of the city. All the cream of the crop worked in that department, then it became the Police department (remember when all those officers were getting arrested "city residents" mind you. Now its the Fire departments turn to get all the crap floats to the top. I know, I know, Levine is #1 on the senority list (which everyone knows means absolutely nothing) he has been carried and pushed along because he is and plays dumb half the time. The fire department is now thee place for recycled trash in the City of Hartford. We have a saying on the job, "its a welfare to work program". Stay tuned people, there is alot more to come!
I was born and raise in this beautiful city of mine and i know the workers in the fire department that live here and the ones that don't. I know how the non resident treat the resident of Hartford as if they are better than them. (Fire and police) I voice my disapproval when its seen by me. Not all the non resident think of themselves as superior. Don't get me wrong there is problems with the workers from the city. But me as being tax payer of this city I would rather have someone who lives knows and have a connection with the city and trust me there is a difference in the action between the two.
ReplyDeleteI can never understand why the Fire Dept. ever had Levine Albert on the job, he is useless, always has been, this is a guy that not only has mental issues, but has gambling problems, owes money to everyone, and borrows money from the guys too, if you are ever driving thru the streets of Htfd, and go down Maple Ave towards the credit union, get off the road if you see this big junkie RV, it's Levine, and doesn't know how to drive that thing, it's time for the guys to stop covering for him, and it's time for him to retire !
ReplyDeleteok, enough on Levine Albert and others please, you have made your point, stick to the topic please
ReplyDeleteRefering to the Irish comment...Remember this NO MATTER HOW BAD MINORITIES SAY THEY HAVE HAD IT OVER THE YEARS...NO ETHNIC GROUP ON THE HARTFORD FIRE DEPT WAS TREATING AS "POORLY" AS THE IRISH....SHIT PAY ,NO BENEFITS,AWFUL HOURS ETC. AND WHAT DID THEY DO? THEY BUILT ONE OF THE MOST RESPECTED AND EFFECTIVE FIRE DEPTS IN THE USA!
ReplyDeleteYou HFD boys are a riot! We're dying here at our FD (won't name the town but its CT). I honestly don't know who would ever pursue a career with Hartford public saftey period. Sh!t pay, lots of work, and gossiping clowns like you guys.
ReplyDeleteDidn't pass our test, huh?
ReplyDeleteAnd don't forget the guys from 20 years ago...that made the Hartford Fire Dept. the Class 1 Department, and there are only a hand full in the U.S that has this, and these were the guys that had pride, so let's try to keep it that way.
ReplyDeleteLmao at the "guy that didnt pass the test"
ReplyDeleteFunny thing is that some of you HFD guys didn't pass the test either.
ReplyDeleteHPD are idiots. The kids have not even lived at that residence for 3 years now. That was left over furniture that was never cleared out the room. Instead of investgating they rushed the investigation so they could give the HFD a black eye in the public eye. I hope when he beats the case there will also be huge headlines all over the media like when he got arrested. They wll most likely print a very small article in the middle of the newspaper where no one will noticed .I bet it won't even be posted on We the People either. As a close family friend I know what I am talking about. Those kids have not lived at that house for at least 3 years!!!
ReplyDeleteOk. So let's just say the kids don't live there. How do you explain the threatening and breach of peace. Do you really think the cops were thinking, " hey there is a fireman living at 25 Canaan St and he has a bunch of guns. Lets go arrest him, take his guns so we can embarrass him and HFD"?? Or, do you think the cops got sent there on a standard loser domestic dispute, and took the arsenal out if the equation just to prevent any 'worst case scenario' where the suspect shoots everybody? HFD and HPD do plenty to embarrass themselves without any help from each other. Bottom line, mike got pinched for a domestic, probably not the first time. He'll get the standard domestic adjudication and get his guns back. In the end, HPD doesn't give a crap what he does....
ReplyDeleteIf I recall corectly, this isn't the first time Mike got jammed up regarding a "Domestic Violence" situation. He used to lived in Farmington and had something similar happen with his then girlfriend. I think he said he got rid of his guns because he didn't want any trouble! I could be mistaken.
ReplyDeleteHey Crazy Gun Freak that's not what I am saying. I am talking about the 29 counts of risk of injury to a child.
ReplyDeleteThis is to HTFDborn. You want only Hartford residents, then stop taking federal money for the fire department and pay your share. Last I knew, it is illegal to have a residency clause when accepting such funds. I think everyone who was denied the opportunity to even take the exam because they didn't live in the city should sue the city for discrimination based on residency. By the way to everyone else. Minority does not mean being black or hispanic, it means the minority, which in Hartford are white people.
