Sean Fitzpatrick's Simsbury Home, Great Pond Road
Sorry for that title, I just had to use it
Hartford's lying Economic Development Director Sean Fitzpatrick has resigned today, with January 31, 2018 effectively being his last day..http://wethepeoplehartford.blogspot.com/2017/12/hartfords-economic-development-and.html
The heat was apparently getting too much for Fitzpatrick as he, Mayor Bronin and Corporation Counsel Howard Rifkin all tried to cover for Fitzpatrick's phony residence at the Town and County Club at 22 Woodland Street.
Fitzpatrick , as a City Department head, was required to comply with the City's residency ordinance. Instead, Fitzpatrick decided , allegedly, to set up a fraudulent residence listed as the woman's social club.
This was first discovered and reported here on "We the People". This is most likely not the end of this story as I look into other issues with the phony address, such as voter registration fraud and civil penalties for falsely registering a motor vehicle with DMV.
And there are other Department heads perpetrating similar frauds on the taxpayers of Hartford.
I guess now I don't need to keep looking for the Fitzpatrick cars on Woodland Street at night, I haven't been able to find them at all yet anyway
Kevin, smoke those frauds out !!!!
ReplyDeleteKevin, Fitzpatrick Ford Mustang and Volvo must be parking comfortably next to his Simsbury home.
ReplyDeleteThey haven't been parked in Hartford, I've been checking
ReplyDeletenext up will be another department head with a fraudulent lease
ReplyDeleteWhats up with the city of hartford department of public works employee smoking marijuana in a city of hartford dpw vehicle in pope park in broad daylight?
ReplyDeleteMaybe its time to bring back drug tests for all city employees.
And to do it in front of two Police Sergeants
ReplyDeleteAnd you got me to break my new policy about being on topic with comments
ReplyDelete6:47PM, you are correct, working on it right now. This is happening because Mayor Bronin allows it and has not set any tone of accountability at City Hall. Bronin is too busy raising money to buy the Governors Office instead of focusing on and doing the job he promised the voters of Hartford he would do if they elected him
ReplyDeleteLuke and Sara are a couple of frauds taking advantage of Hartford to get what they want and build their ego's. They are both good friends of Fitzpatrick. I know where my friends live, the Bronin's knew Fitzpatrick didn't live there, and if the truth were known, probably coached him how to pull off his scam
ReplyDeleteI'm shocked - not.
ReplyDeleteKevin,
ReplyDeleteYou had a great deal to due with this. Congratulations (seriously).
Cleaning up Hartford (or any city) starts at the top.
Is Fitzpatrick resigning because he was caught / by Brookman/ or is this resignation in order that they discontinue the investigation and the Bronins involvement in a web of lies
ReplyDeleteProbably a little of both, more to come though
ReplyDeleteTHE TITLE YOU CHOSE IS PERFECT
ReplyDeleteSmells like an attempt to cover-up The Fitzpatrick affair. Are either Bronin (Luke/Sarah) or Rifkin involved?
ReplyDelete9:13 This Fitzpatrick affair was named Fitzpatrickgate in an earlier comment
DeleteThree car garage attached to The Fitzpatrick home allows room for the mustang, volvo and the city of Hartford car to be parked inside.
ReplyDeleteAll involved, I will post Rifkin's bogus legal opinion tomorrow
ReplyDeleteI can't wait. Expose them all, one crook after the other.
DeleteHe didn’t get a City car, or at least he wasn’t supposed to, but in this free for all anything is possible
ReplyDeleteSean Michael Fitzpatrick believed that his resignation will bring the investigation to an end.
ReplyDeleteNot so. Kevin Brookman got more dirt here that must be exposed.
Hartford the Rising Star, Go Hartford....the Hartford residents and voters are justified in not wanting to pay taxes for HARTFORD POLITCIANS. Mayor Luke Bronin's administration is out of control. Corruption and fraud are apparent. Bronin for Governor! He must be kidding. Young Bronin pack up and go home to Greenwich. You are another shameful Connecticut Democratic Mayor.
ReplyDeleteAnother John Rowland in the making? Actually that’s not fair, John Rowland was a decent guy
DeleteWhoa. Seven counts of election fraud, false statements to hinder a federal investigation, illegal "consultant fees", and he was a decent guy?! He's Bronin times 10! It's breathtaking how conservatives give any republican a pass, but condemn every democrat, even the ones with a modicum of integrity. In my opinion they are all corrupt and evil, dems and reps alike. But John G. Rowland is NOT a decent guy.
Delete8:45 if Bronin continues this way he'll soon become Rowland times 15!
DeleteONE QUESTION PLEASE, ARE BRONIN AND RIFKIN INVOLVED IN THE FITZPATRICK AFFAIR?
ReplyDeleteOf course they are, and it should probably be plural, the Bronin’s
ReplyDeleteIt makes you wonder Kevin, if they are lying about something as little as a residency requirement, what else do they lie about. The “Bronin Foundation” apparently raised over $100,000 in 25 days. Who in their right mind would give this guy a cent? He has done nothing for Hartford and will nothing for CT. When will people wake up.
ReplyDeleteHow can these city elected and appointed officials sleep? Until something gets exposed the corruption, power and greed continues. The media captures a sickening display of men/women two face character. Nasty people who supported this madness continue to do so.
ReplyDeleteThe residency clause is only in effect when convenient. The current firefighter process clearly stated that applicants must have been a bonafide resident at the time of application. It is apparent that the stipulation holds little merit with Human Resources or the Fire Chief as he has cherry picked a handful of candidates who have never lived in Hartford. Where is the vetting?
ReplyDeleteWell face the fact, all that a residency requirement does is limit the pool of candidates to uneducated GED recipients, school dropouts and ghetto folk. Not Rhodes Scholars like Luke Bronin.
ReplyDeleteI wonder who lives at 144 Sunny Reach Drive in West Hartford?
ReplyDeletehttp://gis.vgsi.com/westhartfordct/Parcel.aspx?Pid=21739
Well, who lives at 144 Sunny Reach?
ReplyDeleteCorporation Counsel Howard Rifkin, although heallegedly maintains a sham residence at Hartford 21 for appearances, but that is apparently news to his "alleged" neighbors
ReplyDeleteRifkin is saying that he's lived in Hartford for 25 years.
DeleteTrue or false?
Kevin, Two Faced ,Liar Luke Bronin was allowed AGAIN to bullshit the listeners of WDRC’s Brad Davis and Dan Lovallo show Tuesday morning, he arrived for his MONTHLY visit with his tireless and repetitive bullshit . I called way ahead of his visit to the studio and requested Lovallo to question Bronin on this Fitzpatrick deception, Kev ,you think they asked about that or about Sara Bronin being a member of the Town And Country “BED AND BREAKFAST”,or about Aetna/Travelers/The Hartford holding back commitment money,HPD manpower shortage, his commitment to fill out his term ETC. There was no substance at all to this NON interview or for that matter any of Luke’s previous visits. I talked with you and Dan Lovallo about you being a monthly guest to give your perspective and truths about Hartford.Did Dan Lovallo ever approach you to visit studio or call in once a month? Kev, having you on air either just before OR after Bronin would be ideal for the listeners. If Lovallo didn’t reach out to you then shame on him for ill serving his listeners and LYING TO ME! Maybe hanging out once a month with a big fat liar like Luke Bronin is contagious! Lovallo reads these comments so I hope he redeems some of his decent character and I hope to hear you soon on WDRC ! Please give a heads up if this comes to fruition.

ReplyDeleteHave you ever met him or even had a conversation with him? I am not condoning his actions, but like him or not, he did care about Hartford and accomplished a lot for us as a City.
Actually, yes and yes. Our paths crossed a few times when I used to run in Elizabeth park. Had a couple of brief, superfluous conversations. He presented himself as a decent human being. But his Ganim-Perez style of corrupt politics betrayed his true nature. Just my opinion, though. And we all know to what body part opinions are similar!
Deletewe can only hope, but please, without the title of Governor in front of his inmate number
ReplyDeleteThis story with The Fitz must not end now with his resignation. It must be fully investigated. We, Hartford People, have the right to know everything, including who was part of the lies and the cover-up.
ReplyDeleteE - V - E - R - Y - T - H - I - N - G
I totally agree with 10:05 the investigation must go on
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS MORE LIKE THE SHOW MUST GO ON. NEEDLESS TO SAY, AT THE EXPENSE OF HARTFORD TAXPAYERS.
