Guzie was processed and released from Police Custody on a $1500.00 Non Surety Bond according to Judicial records.
Officer Guzie's next court date is Scheduled for August 22, 2018. Guzie is being represented by Hartford Attorney Patrick Tomasiewicz.

Charges. He is a hot head on the job
and has been doing this for years with his wife.
There have been constant reports of his domestic ABUSE.

In all seriousness, maybe a Hartford Officer (or any officer) could answer a question. According to NBC Connecticut, who had a lot more details than the Courant, he apparently struck his wife, grabbed her and elbowed her in the chest , and the only charge was Disorderly Conduct? Is that what they call the Blue Wall of silence. Where are the assault charges? Something stinks.
ReplyDeleteIf , as I am told, Guzie was pensioned off from his previous Department, Baltimore MD, for Medical reasons, how did he ever get cleared medically to get hired in Hartford or was it a typical HPD background with the blinders on
ReplyDeleteSgt winston brooks did his background. He did not recommend him for hire based on several factors including medical and past issues from his prior department. Yet he was over ruled by someone and signed off by a certain Lt. Looks like winston was right !! ( again ).

ReplyDeleteThat lite duty hpd trooper list needs to be handled. If you cant carry a gun, then no job for u. There are officers here on lite duty for over 15 years !!! Fact. Hidden away in civilian spots makin top patrol pay with vacation and full medical. Post these hpd larceny club members.
If it was the blue wall of silence you wouldn't even be reading about this incident because no arrest would have been made. You answered your own question with "according to NBC".

I’m curious to know how many reports of abuse Guzie has had regarding his wife. If there are constant domestic reports how come he is only being arrested now and I would be curious to know how he actually is acting at his job? How come there have been no consequences?

ReplyDeleteWhy is Hightower any different than anyone else? While he was married he was having an inappropriate relationship with a dispatcher. It’s a known fact he was arrested? What’s the big deal other than certain people are taken care of and certain aren’t? He should’ve been fired as well.
