Over the last few weeks I have received a few calls from readers that are getting an error message when trying to view the blog.
The message""Windows Internet Explorer. Stop running this script? A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive. Yes No".
I'm not sure what has changed that might be causing this, any thoughts from my computer savvy readers?

Most likely there's an error on their end and not your end because not all of us are getting the error. My first advice is to not use internet explorer, because it's the most hacked browser in the world. Use firefox or chrome. The error is caused because a "script (code that's running a part of the web page) is taking too long to load on their computer. This is sometimes caused by a slow internet connection or they are using your new search feature and searching for a very common word, so it's going to take awhile.
Your readers need to make sure they have the latest version of IE if they don't want to use firefox or chrome. Also they can visit here and run the auto fix.

I agree with the previous post, on their end they should definatly take advantage of the other more secure and faster browsers such as Firefox, Chrome & Safari. What you can do on your end Kevin, that could make a difference for some of the slower computers out there, is reduce the amounts of posts on one page. You'll find the option under the 'settings' tab in your dashboard. It should help page-loads go a little quicker and reduce the chance of IE timing out.
Thanks to Kevin and both posters for the advice. I kind of figured it was on "our" end, and now can take some hopefully corrective action.
It's likely an error in your javascript. It could be embedded in your "scribd" files (the foi documents you posted, etc.). I would try taking them down and reloading them. Also, as the previous posters suggested, I wouldn't use Internet Explorer.
Kevin, Should we worried Roldan could get in? Have you seen this? OMG!

I'm not sure, but I think it started happening after your post re: the We The People Hartford TV show starting on access. Maybe something to do with the image/link perhaps?
