Do you need help reading the report? It appears that Citywide crime is down overall with the exception of Burglaries and Larcenies. It looks like that increase is being driven almost equally by burglary increases North District (30%)and Central District (37%)
If crime is so far down then there isn't a need for more cops, just a magic mayor. Do you really think that anyone believes those bullshit numbers? Next you'll be trying to say that everyone at HFD thinks that everything is fine now.
And do you think those numbers can be sustained if we keep ignoring attrition and delaying hiring new officers? And the fire department isn't going to be turned around over night after years of poor leadership, but I am optimistic it is changing
THE OPINIONS EXPRESSED ON THIS BLOG ARE STRICTLY THAT, MY OPINIONS.After getting fed up with the lack of openness in Hartford City Hall, I decided to begin a program on Hartford Public Access Television called "WE THE PEOPLE". Through tips received we have been able to expose numerous issues that the Perez Administration would prefer to keep quiet.
Any information received is kept in strict confidence, feel free to e-mail me at krbrookman@earthlink.net or call me at 860-883-2297 with any information.
