KEEPING THE HFD PIO BUSY

I'm pretty sure he would prefer to be busy putting out the good news at the Hartford Fire Dept. but lately that seems somewhat rare. The new PIO, Lt Raul Ortiz has his hands full

This rather abrupt statement was emailed a few minutes ago

As of today, January 23, 2015 4:30pm,  Firefighter Cinque Scott is no longer employed with the Hartford Fire Department.

  2. Segarra should create a task force made up of former drunken, drug addicted firefighters to look into this problem.

Isn't that what he did already?

  4. Segarra is the Einstein of Hartford. What a smart man..the only person left off the task force that should be there is Capt.Lush. She could get high as hell with Caceres and give Teale a half and half while the old guys put their thumbs up their butts..

  5. He did, but that was LAST week. He needs a new task force NEXT week. Remember, this is the Segarra way, he needs to show us that he's doing something, anything.

  6. segarra in Washington DC having a good time, needs to be reminded there's lots of work to do here in hartford

  7. @Anonymous 12:08: Segarra's ONLY work that will be done this year is campaigning for re-election (which is more than he usually does).

  8. Can someone check Segarra's expenses on the P-card for his trips to DC. He sure is having a good time down there.

  10. Is there a touch of class escort service in Washington, D.C. Or is Pedro using another service?

  11. John Mendez, please be quiet, we don't want to interrupt the Caviar Man during the next 10-11 months while he's busy campaigning. Please do not raise any issues from Pedro Caviar's past, any of his shenanigans, any involvement with Touch of Class, escort service, prostitution, wrong doings as an attorney, mismanagement, corruption right under his nose and much more.
Even if Pedro Caviar is a complete moron, we want to show an image of a perfect man, we'll have to do anything to win. It's ok that departments in our city will not function, that our city will collapse financially, as long as Pedro Caviar wins.

  12. Today is Monday January 26th, 2015. City of Hartford and the entire region are expecting a blizzard, which could be one of the largest ever.
Comments and instructions from city hall: NONE.
If you need any instructions or assistance, please check our city's official website. Here's what you are going to get: NOTHING.
Click on the blue box indicating "Latest News" in that website and this is what you are going to get:

CITY OF HARTFORD AWARDED GREEN SPACE GRANT FROM MIRACLE GRO.

The 'leader' of this city is either gone or he simply does not exist.
THERE'S IS NO LEADERSHIP IN THE CITY OF HARTFORD.

    1. Well where is the High School Graduate Chapman? Is he working on some Consultant Credits,? Don't worry he'll have his boys put out a bias report and Pedro will run with it.

  13. The nonexistent leader of our city should establish a task force to examine why there's no leadership in our city.
Member on this panel could be Saundra Kee Borges, Terry Waller, Charlie Ortiz, Thomas Deller, Maribel La Luz, Hilda Nunez and Pedro Caviar himself, to name a few.

  14. Hey, Pedro 'Supreme Leader' Caviar, a big storm is on its way to Hartford and the entire Northeast. Wake up already.

  15. Correction: they just corrected city's website in the last few minutes. They finally woke up.

    1. They didn't wake up; the person who monitors this blog for Caviar, got the word to him and mariloser, they scraped something together, copied language from the Governor and the region emergency center. Loosers!

  16. Kevin, perhaps you can ask the PIO what happened to the HFD Accreditation? How much did it cost the taxpayers and why was it never completed? It would seem that many answers to the questions which are being sought by the Mayor's special panel were probably identified in this extensive process. Also, was the plug pulled because Reggie was rumored to be involved with the accreditation agency? Seems that the whole process should have documented any weaknesses that the HFD had. What weaknesses were identified and has anything been done to correct those weaknesses?
