ONCE AGAIN, ANOTHER BAD AUDIT FOR THE SEGARRA ADMINISTRATION
Rather than re-write the story, Steve Goode at the Courant presents it quite well here. Read the story and continue down the trail of incompetence of the Segarra Administration. Read the story here
Pedro Segarra is in the middle of the ocean on a sinking ship called Hartford, Connecticut. Pedro has lead his crew into the deep and bitter cold dirty water. Who will help them from drowning?
Almost each morning we wake up to hear news about Pedro Segarra's corrupt and incompetent administration. Today, it's a Courant's report of the Audit Commission findings: "HARTFORD STRUGGLES TO COLLECT HOUSING LOANS" as the headline reads. We're talking millions of dollars here. Many millions. Money the city needs badly. What does Segarra and Maribel say? No comment so far. What's Segarra going to say, the he's an idiot? The article ends with Bruce Rubenstein, member of the commission, quote: "Segarra has been aware of this situation for quiet some time... The buck stops with Segarra on this horrible audit."
Oh boy, that could help with the deficit. How neglecting. Nothing would happen, once again it would be ignored by our "leader". Probably this people had no clue the money was owed to the city. This all border line criminal and Mr. Deller should be fired, not only arrogant, self centered, ego bigger than Hartford, not liked by his subordinates but now incompetent to manage our resources.
It's exactly like the case with the Hartford21 failed supernarjet: Segarra gave Mr. & Mrs. Jones $400,000 or $450,000 as a loan and NEVER COLLECTED EVEN ONE DIME FROM THEM. Then Segarra has the nerve to give the property behind 95 Park St. to SAMA for $1 and SAMA sells it and benefiting itself THE FOLLOWING DAY for more than 1/2 millions dollars. That's the Segarra way, corruption and incompetence all the way.
I carry no brief for Segarra, but the casual regard by our bureaucrats for government expenditures of taxpayer money goes back decades. Why is the City involved in lending money to anyone? For that matter, why do we need a "housing division?" ---------- Brian C. Mathews, director of the Hartford Housing Division, said Wednesday that the city wasn't required to repay any of the money to HUD, and didn't.
"It is my understanding that no repayments to HUD were ever required," Mathews said. "Whenever the affordability period for a project has expired, HUD does not require repayment of HOME funds invested in that project."
Pedro, Pedro, Pedro Segarra you can feed the Goats. They are hiring $9.00 an hour but for you Mayor Pedro it's $9.50 an hour. Take it it's a good deal! How much are you paying your newest campaign manager? Who cares the money is dirty anyway.
Do you Pedro and Charlie have a mortgage? Charlie owes a lot of money from his housing ventures. When are the FEDS going after the money? The FEDS need to go after Saundra Kee Borges, Terry Waller and a host of folks connected to Pedro's administration. Oh don't forget Alex Apointe? When his curt smile is rewinded. He will be eating sour grapes.
Hey, this guy Segarra just approved a $3.1 million loan to a developer, Dakota Partners of Massachusetts, to renovate the Hartford Supply Building on Capital Ave. Don't worry, it's another partnership that will potentially screw up Segarra and not pay back their loan. After all this is the mismanaged city of Hartford
What's the big fuss Kevin, it's just $3 million here, $3 million there, not a big deal. If you ask Maribel La Loose, she might present it this way: It's a great deal for Hartford residents, the more millions Segarra gives away, the less he can steal (or use for caviar).
One, two and most likely three and counting campaign managers... Pedro you are out at the home ball game. Maybe now Pedro will consider running for dog catcher in another place. Let's celebrate!!!. Pedro cannot pretend he can walk or talk a good game. What schools did Pedro attend?
Or he can run for "Yard Goat" Catcher, he's a joke, just like this joke of a name and secret stadium.... too much Kevin Costner movies; "If you build it they will come" Not here, Not Hartford!
Here is the real question; IF YOU BUILD IT WHO WILL PAY??? JOKE OF A MAYOR AND JOKE OF A COUNCIL PREZ, THAT'S WHO SHOULD PAY!!!!!!
Pedro, you are a failure, big failure, stinky failure, gigantic filthy failure, a disastrous one. Now Pedro, tell us what exactly you don't understand here.
Yo, Pedro, Bob's Furniture donated gift cards to victims of fires in Hartford. Instead of giving it to those victims, someone near you at city hall stole the gift cards and used it himself. Who is that person in city hall? What exactly did you do about this?
When people have a job they keep their mouths shut. However, when there are no jobs and lay offs folks rebel. Pedro people are rebelling. Hartford neighborhood streets are full of garbage. The average Hartford resident cannot afford to eat out at the Front Street venues or any place in downtown Hartford. I have seen Hartford residents picking food out of trash pails. You spend taxpayers money like running water. Messy is you real name. Go forward and resign. The Hartford residents need a leader not a follower.
Good, and what did Segarra do and when? Segarra new there were gift cards to fire victims, generous donations by Bob's Furniture, did he ever check, or asked his people to check, that those gift cards reached their destinations. I bet he didn't care less.
The time has come for Hollywood to announce the production of a sequel Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest. Pedro Caviar Segarra will join the cast as the dumbest of them all.
Mr. Brookman, I have my own sources, they may be different than yours, and I'm delighted to confirm that MAYOR PEDRO E. SEGARRA READS THIS BLOG FREQUENTLY.
Yo Pedro, did you hear that the Stone Field Sculpture on Gold St. was damaged earlier today. Here's Thomas Deller, your idiot-on-duty director of development, statement: "It was a mistake. We have to talk to the contractor to make sure this doesn't happen again". Deller, you talk to the contractor BEFORE he start working, you moron. When Hartford voters dump Pedro, you can start packing. Go back to Rhode Island, if anyone is stupid enough to offer you a job over there.
Among the Hartford greedy gold diggers are Apointe, Borges, Cloud (brother & father), Coleman, Deller, Figerora, Fonfara, Gonzales, Perez, Segarra, Vasquez, Waller, Wooden. These people always have excuses for their continued various MISTAKES! I need some money for some new rocks. Many a little paint on my new rocks will add worth to Hartford's history.
Pedro, please go away, you and the goats (Los Cabrones)

ReplyDelete6:46pm: Who will help Segarra and crew from drowning in the middle of the ocean?
DeleteDo you want to hear an honest reply?
Any suggestions from the public?
What dose one expect from Pedro Segarra? He got the job handed to him and has been a failure before and after the fact.
ReplyDeleteGo Pedro Go! Go find a new home and job. McDonald's is hiring.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous at 7:03 PM Are you nuts? The most I'd give Pedro is a job at Taco Bell. McDonald's job is more demanding.

ReplyDeleteThe buck stops with Segarra, but what to do in this situation, the mayor is imbecile.

Why are you looking at the past? Segarra promised honesty, transparency and accountability. We got nothing from him. It was all lies.
Delete11:37am everybody knows that. question is what other "things" are in Pedro's closet that we haven't discovered yet
ReplyDeleteDon't you worry guys, lots and lots of crap is in Pedro's closet

The person who allegedly stole gift cards was arrested.

Hopefully someone besides Deller is paying attention to the Stadium, what's next they will build it facing the wrong direction?
ReplyDeleteNEVER, Kevin, they'll NEVER build it facing the wrong direction. However, they may build it . . . . Upside down.
ReplyDeleteWho cares if they build it facing the wrong direction or upside down, as long as Pedro's luxury sky box going to be perfect.

ReplyDelete5:41pm Any reason why you omitted Maribel LaLuz and Hilda Munoz from your list?
DeleteAs for the entire list above: you're 100% correct!
Read my lips: I'm willing to give Pedro that sky box free for life if he resigns from the job he performs so miserably. I said free. For life.
DeleteKevin and all the anonymous guys, stop insulting Tom Deller. Leave him alone, he's just the idiot of the neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteHopefully it won't be Pedro's for long
ReplyDeleteCan't we start a "Go Fund Me" account to buy it for him if Pedro just goes away, it would be well worth the investment
