THE COURANT WEIGHS IN ON "PIGS AT THE TROUGH"

You can read the Courant's Editorial here

  1. Shouldn't the Courant be breaking these stories instead of weighing in on them. Is this part of Jenna's deal with Hilda to protect Segarra's image?

  3. Good morning media, you finally woke up. Good job reporting this on Fox CT, Mr. Beau Berman.

  4. Unfortunately the editorial is blocked by the Courant's pay wall and we can't see it.

  5. Henri Alexandre should be investigated together with SKB. Where and when did they meet on Saturday, January 31 to sign that letter. What did SKB give Henri in exchange for signing the letter?
    All answers under oath please.

  6. And fortunately she didn't show up, we would have had to pay her $250.00 an hour

  7. I didn't see fox's story, but at least the Courant gave credit to where they got it from

  8. "WE NEEDED TO KEEP SANDY ON TO COMPLETE CRITICAL AND TIME-SENSITIVE WORK"
That's the city's comment to the media regarding SKB new corruption, given by the stupid Maribel La Loose. Yes Maribel, you are stupid.

    1. 'Critical work', no kidding Maribel. Critical joke!

  9. How is it possible that a single man, Mr. Kevin Brookman, all by himself and limited resources, gets all that important information, but the Courant, WFSB, Foxct and NBC30 with hundreds of employees don't get anything. Tells you what miserable work the media does.

Good reporting? That is why his colleagues call him Faux Berman, all that report shows is that Berman can use the iternet and grab stories that others have already done the work on. Not a lot of skill involved there.

That is why I read the blog and don't waste my time watching Berman or his stolen garbage

    1. Ask Dennis House why he didn't even report it

  11. To add insult to injury, Maribel La Loose added:
"SHE (SKB) IS SCHEDULED FOR A PAYMENT OF JUST OVER $17,000 FOR HOURS OF WORK."
Just $17,000 for this short time? Who are you kidding Maribel La Loose? Many in Hartford don't make this money in a whole year, you idiot.

Thank you, but I have been fortunate to develop some great sources that really want to see this City move forward

  13. There is a ban on any unfavorable stories so Jenna and Dennis house will remain quiet.fortuneately for us there are some media folks like Len Bestoff who have journalistic integrity and will report the truth coming out of shitty hall.

  14. Henri Alexandre, welcome to the family. One big, fat, happy, corrupt family.

  17. This editorial must have been written by Tom Condon. He's truly one of a very small handful of good reporters/editors left at that once-great metropolitan newspaper.

Thank you for the kind words! Here is the NBC CT Troubleshooters story on SKB, with some info you haven't seen yet.

  19. If she was CRITICAL, PEDRO WOULD OF ASKED HER TO STAY
if she was DEDICATE TO HARTFORD SHE WOULD HAVE STAYED
SO WHY DID SHE LEAVE? THAT'S THE REAL QUESTION!

She is ONLY CRITICAL TO THE SENSITIVE ISSUES OF LINING HER POCKETS AND ONLY DEDICATED TO HERSELF & TERRY, GETTING THEIR FEED AT THE CAVIAR HALL OF FAMELESS!

THIS IS ALL SEGARRA AND HOW HE WANTS SO, SO BAD TO BE RE-ELECTED!

HE'LL NO, PEDRO MUST GO, HIM AND HIS TOUCH OF CLASSLESS PIGS!

  20. How is it possible in the whole City of Hartford, that there is only one person that is Critical to do this job, and it's SKB, this is not the only time she has returned back to City Hall, I'm guessing 4 times now, I believe that there are others that are more capable of handling the job of the Ball Park then her, so my guess is that she really has something over on the Mayor. Any thoughts on this ? Why else would she be allowed to come back and for more money.

    ReplyDelete
  21. SKB thinks that SKB is critical to do job. Segarra, well he doesn't need to think. He has to do what SKB tells him to do.
Where exactly is Segarra hiding now with this story?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Segarra's speech on Monday was loaded with exaggerations and lies, but he forgot to mention the new SKB scandal. And all the other scandals he's involved with.

  23. Well, Huertas has been out of town on a job interview for the last two days. Should not be too long before he is gone. Who is next?

    1. Who is next? The list is very long!

  24. SKB thinks that the only person Critical to do this job is SKB. Pedro goes with her.

  25. NIOSH report is out Mr.Brookman. Why have u not mentioned it or posted it. Oh, because it does not support your theory that he was high on cocaine like you have stated in previous comments?? I hope the Bell family sues you for all you have for defamation of character.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I haven't had a chance to write anything yet because I have a real job first. As far as the cocaine theory, I think you just said more about that than I ever have. Maybe the family should be looking to sue your first in line. I can prove what I have talked about, can you?

    ReplyDelete
  27. "Cardiac hypertrophy" is a condition frequently (but not always)related to cocaine use/abuse. And there have been several reports from people within the HFD that alcohol and drug (including cocaine)use are fairly widespread within the department, often during working hours and even before Mr. Bell's untimely death.

I think the behavior you mention has become pretty much common knowledge lately, just read the Courant. I'm not creating incidents, plenty of people in HFD are well aware of what has been occurring. I guess some are just less honest than others and can't face the truth

    ReplyDelete
  29. He won't post anything not related to the lighter side of view.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Plenty of people in HFD also know that all of your attempts to help hide what really happened aren't working. The members of HFD know how Kevin died and what was responsible for it. You can help try and blame the unmotivated new FF's and problems of a few members. But the truth of the matter is that the FF's most responsible for what happened were very smart and highly respected supervisors with many certificates to prove their worthiness. They could more than hold their own at a table of state school firefighters.

    ReplyDelete
  31. It's hard to be a supervisor when you're so scared you can barely think strait. How can you think about your FF's when you're worried about saving your own ass. Give him a break, between injury time and PO time he's only got a few years of FF. experience. You wouldn't trust a private with only 2yrs. of experience would you.

  33. USA
The Director of the CIA is chosen by the President and confirmed by the Senate. His salary is $179K.

    Hartford
The head of our city Corporation Counsel is chosen by the mayor and is confirmed by nobody.
Her salary was $169K (however she took home much more).

  34. You have to admit Segarra got us a great deal with Kee-Borges. He paid her $10k less than CIA Director.

    1. Sandy actually took home about $225k a year, which includes her previous "jobs" with the City of Hartford.

  35. 1:16Pm,

Until she retired, and then we made that up quickly paying her 10 Grand a week as a "consultant"

    ReplyDelete
  36. Sandy K.-B. is still active with Segarra /City of Hartford. First she retired on 1/31. Then she engaged herself as a consultant on 1/31. Now she's pulling the strings behind the scenes for Segarra and herself. As long as Segarra is in office she's there too.

  37. Pedito and Sandy, I dont think the poor old witch Doctor that you been consulting with is going to help you out of this one. He's to old and frail. You have made a complete mess trying to hold on to your own worst enemy SkB and it is going to cause you your seat. You betrayed the most needy Harford taxpayer and voters. You have given everything to Sandy which has been a proven manipulator; lier and staight out thief. Instead of taking care of the voters who put you there you betrayed thier trust.so if you find yourself out of the ship that you mismanage then it is all your fault.Stop listening to Saundra and stand up for what you believe in. Do you have any idea how many people you can feed with those $250 dollars an hour. Saundra is bring you down dont be a fool get rid of her once and for all and save your seat. She will soon be discover by the FBI for mortage fraud. And doesn't know a damn thing about baseball, whom do you think you are fooling. Wake up and smell the roses.
