AN ANSWER TO THE CRYPTIC RESOLUTION

On November 24th I posted about a cryptic Resolution that was on the Hartford City Council Agenda. You c an read that posting herehttps://wethepeoplehartford.blogspot.com/2017/11/a-cryptic-hartford-city-council.html

It now appears that resolution was directed towards  Hartford's Building official Michael Fuschi. Fuschi is apparently also listed , or is being employed by the Town of Manchester as their Assistant Building Inspector according to the Town of Manchester website.

Why it took a resolution by Council President Clarke to deal with the question is unknown.

  1. wow not surprised here. more Hartford corruption. Kevin, thank you for always bringing the truth to light. have you checked into the status of the ever so failing Hartford Schools. I hear that Leslie's entire cabinet is resigning and 2 members already resigned. also heard as of last week HR reported 70+ Hartford schools staff members are home on PAID leave!!! wow how do they have the money for this ? how does this effect the schools and children?

  2. Not to get off the topic of this blog post @ 10:16 AM, but you are probably referencing holdovers from other superintendents. Usually, new superintendents bring in new talent. Also, be mindful of the upcoming school closing announcement. There probably had to be some equivalent house-cleaning at Central Office.

The "rumor" I heard was approximately 50 staff. Some decisions may have been in response to new policies and procedures put in place since the Office of the Victim Advocate report. On the other hand, it is probably VERY CHALLENGING to be a teacher in the Hartford Schools system. HBOE needs to spend wisely on GOOD teachers, good training and support, more aides, more tutors = successful neighborhood schools and improved student outcomes. $27+ million spent on buses to send children outside of Hartford is criminal.

  4. @ Alyssa, isn't the whole team holdovers from former superintendents including the new superintendent as well? seems new talent is an oxymoron, new and talent have zero to do with each other.

  5. I hear Leslie's time is limited at the BOE and she has plans to work in the government sector with Luke Bronin- and of course her glorified chief of staff (birks), will be the new shining super in New haven.

Mike Fuschi might be a good guy but sounds like he was double dipping. Hartford police should open a case to see if he was doing both jobs at once. Thats called theft of time. Easy to track with cell phones where he was.
