JUDGE'S DECISION TO EDDIE PEREZ, "CRIME DOESN'T PAY"

EDDIE PEREZ ARREST PHOTO

He may have never had to have paid a price for his Criminal Felony convictions in terms of jail time,  but he will have to pay a price for the loss of his pension. That pension was funded by the same taxpayers Eddie Perez defrauded by his criminal acts.

Apparently Judge Noble  saw it the same way and felt that convicted felon Eddie Perez should not be allowed to benefit from his criminal acts before he was removed as the Mayor of Hartford. Yesterday Judge Cesar A. Noble issued a decision to revoke Perez's pension. That decision is below

  1. Love it. The irony is the Democrats pushed this law through after Governor Roland was arrested yet still eligible for his pension. Now it bites a Democrat?

  5. His Dirty Protege Matt Hennessey (CAMPAIGN DIRECTOR)
Should be ARRESTED TO FOR ALL HIS CRIMES.
Hennessey was fired as a SHERRIF BEFORE
HE CAME ON AS PEREZ ASSISTANT. Hennessey's father was a JUDGE
WHO GOT HIM THE JOB AS SHERIFf.
HENNESSEY IS low scum ILLEGAL AND DIRTY AS IT COMES.
Matt HENNESSEY SHOULD FOREGO HIS PENSION as well . HE TOLD PEREZ WHAT TO DO.

  6. Good. Perez doesn’t deserve a dime. After all, he is the true reason HPD is in the mess it’s in. For those of you who remember, Perez made the blunder call of making DKR Chief and we’ve just never recovered.

The fact is. If fast eddie did run for mayor, he would destroy bronin. The northend hates bronin and eddie will get all of the parkville votes. Its going to be a very interesting summer in the city..

  9. He can always go back to the days of being a gangbanger. This time it will have to be in a retirement community.

Sounds Stalin like? Hitler and Mussolini would endorse such a candidate.

Sounds like you need to go and resit in Venezuela they could youse you to help feed the poor. IT appears you are nothing more than a protein source.

Just look at the pathetic condition of 40 + years of management by people you support. I take the protein source back, you would cause MAD COW for the poor oppressed and persecuted people living an a socialist LEFT wing country.

Threats as the tool of the weak.

I allowed that comment through to add some balance to the ignorant fringe. Brandon McGee has about as much chance at being elected Mayor of Hartford as I do, and I have no plan to run.

  14. I can attest that Fast Eddie is not destitute unlike his court petition said. A tenant in a building for sale told me he had inspected the two family house for possible purchase. So who is financing him or does he have money stashed away? He is a genuine slime bucket. And as he ages, he gets stupider looking. Trash haulers should toss him in the truck. But clearly, we tax payers win one.

  18. Finally, justice has been served. Just a few questions and comments:

    1) Is the judge's decision final or does Perez have a right to appeal it? Hoping it's final.
    2) Is Perez obliged to repay the city the amount of pension benefits he's already received prior to the revocation order? The decision is silent on this matter. He probably doesn't have to, but I feel it should have been part of judge's decision. Perhaps state statute does not allow for this.
    3) Also, will the City sue Perez for the balance of the home renovation project undertaken with Costa? The decision states that the work was valued at a minimum of $40K, but Perez after the fact paid only approximately $20k to Costa. It is my guess that Costa did NOT eat the $20k difference. I suspect, but obviously have no proof, that he would have over the course of the Park St project written in the $20 difference, in small increments of course, to the change orders he got from the city. I believe, at the time, DPW staff was not in agreement with many of the change orders. Just sayin'...
    4) For Perez to claim financial hardship is a downright misstatement given the fact that he is employed by CREC. See CREC website for employee directory: http://www.crec.org/about/employees.php?email=&el=Perez&lf=c&ef=&ff=c

Kevin, thanks for all your hard work over the years. Without it, we probably wouldn't even have achieved this decision...

  19. Hats off to Kevin! Great news reporting. I do not feel any sadness for Eddie Perez. He is a man who broke and has broken the law. Maybe some SPECIAL community service will help Perez understand right from wrong.

  24. Paul West Will verbally protest Thody to become the next

    Ideas that erode productivity.
    Make long an ac.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Long AC Loveeeeee it... He is a good man and knows what he is doing.

    ReplyDelete
  28. But why not just make Long Chief

    ReplyDelete
  29. Chief Long is capable, but he was offered an AC spot early on by Chief Rosado and turned it down. Very few people would uproot their families for what is most likely a very temporary position, and an AC would have to move into Hartford.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Kevin,
Fallon, Horvath, Dryfe, Heavren were all A/C’s that didn’t live in the city. It’s doable for the right guy. Long is the right guy. Pull your strings. We need this.

    ReplyDelete
  31. If DC Long retired then returned as an AC, while receiving both his salary and retirement (like Thody), he would have accepted Assistant Chief. Does anyone doubt this? I think Thody will appoint Long as AC and let him "double dip" because Long has the most operational experience out all of them. Thody is smart, he will surround himself with capable "get stuff done" people. Long AC, Laureano DC, Powell DC.

I feel bad for Leonard, Rendock and Liappes. All hardcore anti-Thody.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Im sure it is no shock when the hostile gets dropped on little eric leonard from a female records employee....
With the peopleskills of a stapler, and hatred for thody , im sure little door slammer eric will go no further
In this organization. If thody intends to succeed as chief, people like leonard need to be hidden far away
From the public view and zero impact on any decision making. Having an internal guy who knows who the
Workers are and who the turds are is coming at a perfect time. Its a rebot and reshuffle.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I do not see Thody being more than just the interim Chief, not that he is not capable they will go outside AGAIN.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Rosado couldn't stand the heat, he was a very poor choice to begin with, but then again, look who picked him. Chief Long absolutely should be selected as our new chief. He could "live" in Hartford like Medina and Rosado did - maintaining their suburban residences while having a semi permanent address in Hartford. Hopefully things get better with a new chief and a new mayor fairly soon. All three, Bronin, Rosado, and Medina claim to love and care about Hartford but once out of office you will never see them here....

    ReplyDelete
  35. your information is incorrect. Chief Rosado and Chief Medina both sold their "suburban" homes and bought homes in Hartford and actually live here. That is a huge commitment to what is typically a temporary job, to uproot your family, take your kids out of their schools and their friends and relocate them to Hartford. Chief Thody also is a Hartford resident, even though you didn't mention him

    ReplyDelete
  36. Kev, You state All the time that moving into the city of Hartford for six figure salaries ,benefits and pensions is a HUGE commitment REALLY? ,,my grandparents legally imagrated from Europe with loose change in their pockets and agreed/promised to be PRODUCTIVE and LAW ABIDING U.S. citizens ,,,, NOW THATS A TRUE COMMITMENT! Inner city people are uneducated enough on their own and don’t need to be spoonfed any bullshit about department head “SACRIFICES”.
