STABBING ARREST MADE

PRESS RELEASE FROM HPD


HARTFORD, CONN. – (March 13, 2019) Hartford Police make arrest in February double stabbing incident. 

  On February 16, 2019, at 12:36 a.m., patrol officers responded to 371 Franklin Avenue, Andrea's Restaurant, on the report of a serious assault with a knife. A crime scene was located and secured as two victims arrived at Hartford Hospital via private vehicle. Both victims were treated for stab wounds and listed in stable condition. The Major Crimes Division and the Crime Scene Division were notified and assumed control of the investigation. 

     On March 08, 2019, Major Crimes Detectives obtained an arrest warrant from the Hartford States Attorney's Office charging Darrin Little DOB 10/25/1974 with two counts of Assault in the First Degree and Reckless Endangerment.

   On March 13, 2019, with the assistance of the United States Marshal's Office & Hartford Police Violent Fugitive Task Force, Little was located in Middletown Connecticut and taken into custody without incident. 

Little was processed and posted a $190,000 bond. His next scheduled court date is March 27, 2019.
