Mayor Bronin appears to award another seat or two on the Permanent Commission on the Status of Women every other month. Just how many commissioners do they have now? I see by this agenda package that there are three more nominations that he's setting before the council for their approval, and two of the three are members of the Voices of Women of Color, including it's founder and director. That's a sure sign that he'll be running for mayor again next year, as he needs their "influence" to deliver the north end vote--for money. In his 2015 campaign finance records, he reported several thousand dollars paid for their efforts in "getting out the vote". Right. Look for more such honors as we get closer to the election.
THE OPINIONS EXPRESSED ON THIS BLOG ARE STRICTLY THAT, MY OPINIONS.After getting fed up with the lack of openness in Hartford City Hall, I decided to begin a program on Hartford Public Access Television called "WE THE PEOPLE". Through tips received we have been able to expose numerous issues that the Perez Administration would prefer to keep quiet.
