On
October 23rd 2018 at approximately 6:40 a.m. HPD responded to
the intersection of Gold and Main Streets for car vs pedestrian
(bicyclist) accident. Vehicle attempted to evade the scene and
struck the rear of a school bus near the intersection with
Wells Street. The Female operator fled from the scene on foot
before being apprehended at Main Street and Buckingham Street.

DOB 5/24/1980
213 East St., New Britain
Charges:
DUI, Reckless Driving, Evading Responsibility
w/ serious physical injury (felony), Operating w/o a license and
interfering with police
Victim: status of the victim has been upgraded
to "stable" condition
- 5 children were transported to CCMC for
minor injuries resulting from the collision with the school
bus

Not drunk, angel dust (PCP) - read the Hartford Courant article. There's no treatment, and there's no enforcement. All they are worried about is opioids because they got a federal grant for that. Young people are getting poisoned by this and nobody cares.
