WHERE ARE OUR PRORITIES?
By this point in the week, most people know the name of Cecil the Lion. I am an animal lover and I can't understand the cowardly thrill of killing such a majestic animal. All for the sake of mounting the lions head above the mantle or the lion pelt on the floor. Maybe if it was a little more fair, if you wrestled the lion and win, OK take him home.
I am somewhat confused by our priorities though. All the media attention and the uproar over a majestic lion from Zimbabwe is interesting . Many more young people and others are hunted down in our streets everyday with hardly any notice.
By now, just about everyone knows the name of Cecil the Lion. Can anyone name Hartford's last homicide victim?

This by far is one your greatest posts ever because every black person in major cities across America wether killed by black on black crime or the police are thinking the exact same thing!!!!!!
I though I was the only thinking like that .but yes is other more important things . The violence in our street is taking over .an nothing is being done.
Do you want their "street name" , "alias" ,"legal name" or "birthname" ? After you and reverend Sharpton immortalize these fine people on a granite wall ,can you at least provide us their arrest record along side their names? We are not as naive as you think, the word "victim" should be reserved for innocent people who are killed by these vermin
It can never be either or. We are outraged over the death of people by each other or by cops as well as being outraged by the senseless killing of a lion or other animals. It boils down to the lack of respect for life.
