ARREST WARRANT SIGNED FOR HPD CLERK

Here is the original posting, first reported here on We the People.http://wethepeoplehartford.blogspot.com/2015/08/civilianization-best-route-for-some-hpd.html Now after the Internal Affairs Investigation, an arrest warrant has been signed for the civilian clerk, Liza Aponte. According to sources within HPD, Aponte was terminated several weeks ago.

It is still unclear if this is a normal policy for civilians to transport drugs unsupervised, as was the case with Aponte

  5. This woman, Jennings, is shameless. In my opinion, not only she's unethical, she's a crook.

  6. Liza Aponte was caught stealing. This was smart, in the Segarra administration you're promoted if you're caught stealing.

  7. There are two Apontes that I know of who are with the city: Councilman Alex Aponte, and a woman named Aponte who is a DPW spokesperson; I believe she is his ex-wife?

  8. Alex Aponte is the one who represented Segarra in his bankruptcy protection filing. I wonder how "ethical" he was when ge declared that he had $200 on hand.

  9. Speaking of Apontes and I wish could say more, but a certain Aponte (non specific) doesn't like to pay (at least) sales taxes. Hey, who does, right? Except that his MO is pulling cash out of his pocket and mentions a transaction without sales tax. Since he is an officer of the court, I find this to be unethical. and I am speaking from personal experience.

  10. 10:54pm, that's much more than unethical, that's stealing cash from the state. In most states a person goes to jail for cheating on sales tax.

  11. There's a pattern of cheating and stealing in Hartford, it's a culture like, knowing that it's accepted, that nobody will do anything if you get caught.

  12. 1:13 I totally agree with what you say, but thus culture is all over city hall, in each and every dept.

  13. She's an idiot but who idea was it to civilianize property room? is booking next? then teleserve? is this Rovella bright idea to save money? Is he to blame because segarra is out so his name shouldn't be mentioned anymore but from what I'm hearing Luke Bronin not a fan of Rovella either. Good riddance to the worst chief in HPD history
