I had posted this clip earlier but apparently there were some audio issues. Here is a corrected version of Bob Killian and his interview as to why he is running for Mayor of Hartford.

JUDGE KILLIAN JUST GOT ME INVOLVED IN LOCAL POLITICS...
Judge Killian is an experienced, smart man. He's been in Hartford all his life and clearly understands all of Hartford problems. HE IS THE RIGHT CANDIDATE TO BE OUR NEXT MAYOR.
I am sure Judge Killian is a nice guy and he certainly has no problem pointing out issues. But I have heard him talk twice now and he hasn't said one thing that he would do. 31 years doing the same job doesn't prepare someone to manage a $500 million corporation with hundreds of employees. Right now he is my number 2 but with a large gap behind Luke.
I see the Judge as the Ross Perot of this race - a bit of comic relief and a bit of common sense mixed in but ultimately not up to the job.
THE OPINIONS EXPRESSED ON THIS BLOG ARE STRICTLY THAT, MY OPINIONS.After getting fed up with the lack of openness in Hartford City Hall, I decided to begin a program on Hartford Public Access Television called "WE THE PEOPLE". Through tips received we have been able to expose numerous issues that the Perez Administration would prefer to keep quiet.
Any information received is kept in strict confidence, feel free to e-mail me at krbrookman@earthlink.net or call me at 860-883-2297 with any information.
