FROM HPD AND A LITTLE STREET JUSTICE

On July 21, 2015, at 8:28am, after a 911 call, a Hartford Police Department Traffic Division Officer was traveling north on Franklin Ave. when he was flagged down by an employee of Barranquitas Bakery. Further investigation determined that the accused entered the bakery and attempted to steal a large tip jar filled with cash from the counter. Employees of the bakery confronted the accused and a physical altercation ensued. Based on witness statements, the accused made a motion as if he was removing a weapon from his waistband. One of the employees, who is licensed to carry a firearm, feared that the accused had a weapon, removed his firearm and discharged one round striking the accused in the leg. Witness statements were taken at HPD by the Major Crimes Division. The accused was transported to Hartford Hospital where he was treated and released. Upon release from the hospital, the accused was taken to HPD and charged. The investigation is ongoing.

I guess a change Craig 27 strikes and you're still in the game . And we will probably be paying for his rehab for the bullet wound to his leg ,I doubt he has a job

Our Citizens do the right thing, the HPD does the right thing and now we leave it to the Justice System which will do the same thing it has done in the past 27 episodes of this Felon's encounters with the Justice System. They will slap him on the hands and release him back into our oommunity. Criminal, not Cival justice!

I don't want to sound prejudicial toward any particular people, but here is what I know about Puerto Ricans. I love them. Love their food. Love to dance salsa with a Bonita donna. Love practicing my horrible-sounding Spanish. But what I know about PR the island, is that the barrio is host to some of the meanest, crime-ridden people so bad that in years past anyways, (I haven't visited the island in a few years), the barrios were so bad that the police didn't even want to go in. And these folks can get on a plane with a one way ticket and fly directly to Hartford and enjoy more lucrative crime ventures. I have no data validating this but I sense I am close to the Mark. And today, as the island suffers such massive unemployment more than ever before, these bottom fishers are coming here in droves.

Add to it the biggest new wave of heroin use in decades and you have an out of control situation. I sold all of my guns that I inherited from papa. Never was much into them. But I am rethinking that plan now an considering rearming and taking lessons with that dammed NRA organization. Hartford is clearly a dangerous place to live. I don't hang out on the streets. I leave my house and go directly to shopping, business interest and entertainment. But one can get suddenly caught in a cross fire always when you lease expect it. I was once driving down a street when two cars were racing each other in my direction taking up the whole street.,I pulled to the side and braced myself knowing one car would hit me. It didn't but it almost did.

Suffice to say, I'm outta here Jack real soon. I will sell my house in pristine condition and I will move to a place where few can follow. I am building a home in Shangrala on a mountain top with guard cats (the wild variety) whose only alliance is to me. Those cats will kill without my commands. With my urging, they will rip at an intruder and eat him slowly and discard the carcus over the cliff.

Adios Amigos. And do yourselves a favor, por favor. Get rid of that jackass, Pedro Segarra. Anyone who spends all that money on sports? In this financial climate is the biggest critan to ever hold that office. Even Little Eddie Perez, though he was a crook par exalt cd, didn't embark on such a financial adventurism. The old drunk Mike Peters was a drubken fool but didn't waste the city treasury.

This story has received more attention than any robbery in recent memory.
Hartford Courant: Stories on the incident 2 days in a row with a large photo in Thursday's paper.
Chanel 3 and 30: Trucks parked outside bakery all day Tuesday and Wednesday.

Why you ask? Because the crackhead got shot instead of the shopkeeper.

Humble shop keepers need attention 2!

Ummmm Kevin, this is the same Governor who reports he's sending Hartford help while standing in front of state prison releasing 1,500 inmates early. He has a designated release team. Guess where they'll all end up? Let me tell you, it won't be Avon.

Guess what happens when those inmates can't find jobs ??? Yea think about it

Development Services under the regime of Pee dro and Deller have shed 80% of their Directors, all African American and Latinos. That does not include the shedding @ planning, 3 planners are left. Deller-Pedrito, you don't have the pros to move forward with el mandito estadadio.

Surprising that the shooter wasn't arrested and charged with something, but it's still early.

Bob Killian fell on his sword and dropped out. He could have won but he sacrificed himself for the good of Hartford. I hope he plays a strong role in the new administration.

Kevin.
What do you think of that R jo Winch running for office again. She has her little minions pasting pictures and posters on every electrical box and telephone pole.
She is an idiot and i will rip down any sign i see posted on city property. Are there any rules or regulations to where political signs can be posted ?

KEVIN BROOKMAN said...

She never paid attention to any laws when she was a disciple of Eddie Perez and condoned all of his illegal acts so why would she start obeying laws now and to answer your question I believe it's illegal to post those on traffic boxes or on any utility pole

19th homicide of the city and they say it's drug related. 95% of crimes and homicides in hartford are drug related. No one wants to believe it. Only 5% are not related to drugs. Time to start cleaning. The corners with the jump out boys. There was a time when thugs were afraid of the I jump out boys. Not anymore. It will get worst of the police department does not start addressing the corners etc. But city hall and the police department heads think they know better. Time they listen to out complaints and stop ignoring us.
