WHERE IS THE DILLON GRAND JURY? HARTFORD FILES LAWSUIT

Grand juries do take some time. Not being an attorney, I thought I read once that grand juries are empaneled only when a case is too weak to be prosecuted through the normal process.

So will ole Fast Eddie Perez be retried on separate charges? He lucked out on a technicality. Because the state decided to put his two separate charges together ( for expediency? Or cheapness), he would have opened himself up to cross on one case if he had testified in the other case in his defense. And the appeals court ruled this de facto unfair for him to not be able to defend himself against one of the charges.

The State of Connecticut bungled their first sizable political trial. Maybe they should leave these cases to the big boys in the federal court system. The state could still prosicute but it would seem that they don't have the balls to go forward.

Reading this, I can tell you that the Dillon Stadium is a huge scandal. Clueless Segarra and his administration are nothing but a bunch of idiots, and most likely corrupt as well.

Pedro Peter Maria Caviar Segarra is the biggest moron ever!

This suit should have been filed within 2 weeks of the Courant's expose on the debacle. Can't the City do anything right? If they claim they were waiting for criminal indictments then where are they? One does not need to come before the other. These are two separate jurisdictions, civil and criminal. The City again dropped the ball. And if there is any potential of getting money out of these guys they may have already hidden it away because it's going to take years for this matter to get to judgment.

Segarra created an unbelievable mess with the Dillon Stadium, not to mention the OTHER stadium.

I wonder how Pedro would hold up in federal prison. Do they all have cell mates? Oh darn, this is gonna be a win win for ole Pedro. If he stays out, he lives comfortably on Woodland. If he goes in the slammer, he gets a bunk mate. Win win. It would be like a straight guy going to prison and having as his bunk mate, Foxy Brown in her prime.
