LUKE BRONINS FAKE ACTOR COPS
MAJOR DIRESPECT TO HARTFORD POLICE OFFICERS
Earlier today I posted about the deceptive release of HPD bodycam footage after it was altered by The Tolland County States attorney investigating last weeks officer involved shooting.
Now the deception is continuing, this time by our esteemed Mayor Luke Bronin, and the esteemed part is sarcasm in case you are wondering.
Bronin apparently put out a campaign ad tonight touting his accomplishments in hiring Police Officers Police Officers everywhere in the ad. Police Officers walking, Police officers standing by a cruiser, a female Police Officer taking a stroll with Bronin.
It is all a shame. Most of the Police Officers were blurred just enough to unrecognizable., but two shots it is clear to anyone that has actually met a Hartford cop and respects the work they do that these are not Hartford Officers. Those are not Hartford Police badges they are wearing. Those aren't even Hartford Police patches on those uniforms. Heck, I don't even think those are HPD issued holsters.
For someone that claims he has done so much for HPD ( besides cut their benefits and slash their contract),isn't it sad he has to hire actors to walk with him posing as Hartford Officers? He probably couldn't find any self respecting Hartford Officer to be used by him and his campaign.
Deception is deception and I guess Luke is losing his deceptive touch, He really screwed up on this one and to the best of my knowledge even the HPD Union was leaning toward endorsing another candidate besides Bronin.
Isn't it interesting that in the ad on facebook at "Luke Bronin for Hartford" Bronin touts the diversity he has brought to the Hartford Police, yet there is not person of color depicted in any of the actors playing Hartford Officer's. Oops.
How low will Luke go to buy the Mayor's Office again. You would think with his million dollar war chest he could have put out a better ad with a Director who pays better attention to critical details
Luke Bronin owes a huge apology to the hard working men and women of the Hartford Police Department for his deception and dishonesty.

Chief Thody is trying his hardest and will make drastic important moves in September. You think just because there’s a new chief, all the criminals are going to love each other? Moves take time and if given the ok, Thody is ready and willing to make some great moves within the PD. He has the community’s support and most of the rank and file support. Thodys heart is in the game, Rovella’s pockets were always in his game.

Hartford in a 6 month time frame has had about the same amount of shooting homicides as in El Paso today. Where’s all the outrage? Why does it seem to be no big deal in Hartford? Bronin seems to be doing a lot pretending to hang out with cops. Thody is pretending to be a cop, no wonder they don’t get along. Is Thody’s response still, according to compstat violent crime overall is down compared to the same time last year. Keep up the good work Jason. Maybe you should assign a driver that doesn’t have to use phone GPS from the PSC to Battles Street like you. A rookie with a month on the street could more likely than not find Battles Street without GPS! But that would be a month longer than you!!!

I don't think racial politics or racial quotas have the served the City of Hartford very well. How about just finding the most qualified person. Whether that person be male or female, Black, Hispanic, Asian, American Indian or even White, I want the best qualified person for the job without all of the attached political nonsense this City seems to thrive on

Let's be accurate and also fair. I do agree Deputy Chief Long is more than qualified to be an Assistant Chief and I would even go so far as permanent Chief Chief Rosado had offered Deputy Chief Long an Assistant Chief position shortly after he took over. The requirement to uproot his family and move into Hartford was an issue, as it would be with many people with young families. The residency requirement was a deal killer and Chief Long turned the A/C slot down. Maybe that is why it is so hard to fill Administrative positions in the City and the residency requirement needs to be addressed. Why is he good enough to perform as a Deputy Chief but living out of town disqualifies competent people to be an Assistant Chief or Chief?

Hahaha, I wouldn't call Chief Rosado "permanent chief" he was here two minutes and two minutes too long. Troop F wouldn't want Raffy back if he had a wagon full of gold with him. And Bronin can make all the commercials he wants and show up to as many vigils as he possibly can, but come November he will be voted out for good...

7:26PM You must be joking.There is no outrage because there is no reporting. The white Courant and the white WFSB, WVIT, and FOX dont want any reporting of the shots fired on Windsor and North Main. They want Bronin. Only Brookman is reporting this. The community wont see the truth in the media or read the Brookman blog.
wait until they see the video. these thugs racing up North Main heading into oncoming traffic and on the sidewalk until they finally crash, without any regard for the Safety of other cars and people in their way
