She is a disaster and should be sent home to enjoy her pension. Find a professional with fresh ideas that actually knows what management means

It's time for her to step down and let someone else run the ship. For the second time she has failed. She has not proven that she capable to manage. So it's time for her to move on collect her pension and be happy that she got this far.

They should have never let her returned in the first place...Go home, enjoy your two pensions, and take your so-called husband too!

No!! Its time for Saundra to abandoned the ship before she let it sink any further, Saundra had her chance and she made a mess as well as gave her best friend, Pedro a bad rap. It's obvious that she can not maneuver the ship out of the dirty waters. If she stays the City of Hartford is headed to sink and lots of people are going to drown. We need someone that is going to over see and protect the taxpayers funds. Not misuse the funds in a way that is leading the City towards a major downfall. It is a big embarrassment, her poor leadership is making her best friend look like a complete fool. It's time for her to hang up her Chief's Hat, and let someone command the ship. Sorry Saundra, but you failed once again. It's time for you to go and give someone else a chance. You were bad back then and even worse now.Friends don't let their friends down. Pedro gave you a great opportunity and you made a fool of him. Friends like you, who needs enemies.

What is going on? She needs to be fired now. If other people have been fired for less that what she has done, why was not done already?

Not fair, the council seems afraid to fire her? She is already "double dipping" among all her wrong doing. The longer you take to fire her the more tax payers money go to waste.
Who is to decide her fate? Beware of the "Elite" , they are pretty unionized. We the People are watching and won't tolerate any more favoritism to someone who is corrupt. ENOUGH!

I guess we need new blood in the council, if they are so afraid to fire someone who has violated the same laws she was hired to protect.
Bias, Bias, Bias!!!

Mr. Shawn T. Wooden , you don't seem to have the initiative to make a simple decision. Knowing the facts on wrong doing, double dipping, working illegaly, violating the laws COO was hired to protect...
If you are in line to get Pedro's seat, your actions and inability to run the council, have proven that you are not capable to do the job.
Why to extend this problem to May when it has been already established it is illegal? I don't understand what is keeping the Council to do what is right!

So sick and tired of learning about the City hiring rejects, especially SKB, didn't they get it when they got rid of her the first time ! then they bring her back again, and for what...this time again she screws the City, so wake up Hartford , how many times do you have to learn the lesson on re-hiring people ? Would it dawn on them to check out the first reason that she was let go before you had brought her back again...shame on you!

Everybody keeps talking about her double dipping, forget that. You should still be upset about her "dipping" in the reserves back in the 90s. Does anybody have a F@#!@%G memory around here ???!!!! She squandered 10s of MILLIONS of dollars under the guise of closing budget gaps and nobody investigated or followed the money! Come on people, she would have been better suited cashiering the snack counter at city hall. Thank God my parents arent around for this ,they would have departed disgusted with the city they loved so much.
