Sources are confirming for me that Hartford Fire Lieutenant Michael Patterson, who was arrested yesterday on numerous charges related to his stockpile of firearms, has been on leave from HFD for over two months after apparently claiming an on duty injury.
At the same time that Patterson was out injured, he was apparently also working in the firearms department at Cabela's Sporting Goods in East Hartford.
This sounds like something that Workers Compensation Fraud Investigators might be interested in

Mother-In-Law 1 - Patterson Zero. I think the mother-in law is just winding up. This is going to be fun to watch.
Patterson needs a new attorney! The issue is not whether the confiscated guns were loaded. The issue is that he was arrested for Domestic Violence and his guns had to be confiscated in accordance with state law.
I do not understand the "mother-in-law" references but, come on, if he could not work due to injury (mental or physical),why was he working? He may owe the City of Hartford lots of triple damages (per offense)for fraud. He certainly owes his family more security than he has provided. Given the facts assumed -- working while on disability and lots of guns and amunition in close proximity to a minor, how can anybody justify his continued employment? This will take months -- let's see -- has the "emmployer" issued any payroll checks to him and, are there any pictures of the scene? Maybe justice will be swift.

if the part time consist of light duty and the doctor clears you to work a light duty position then there is no harm done. The HFD has to contact an injured person to return for light duty.

Dont yah all worry at all. Cause when Chief Waller takes command of this here fire dept, gonna be a lot of changes. Yah all lot of ya going to need to get your resumes ready for the new beginning! Its already in the works, so save the drama for firehouse locker rooms.

Mike, you need to find a lawyer quick and start filling for divorce, then get rid of wife, and especially mother in law, cause if my mother in law did that, she would be out of that house in a heart beat, especially if it's your house, and for her to tell Fox 61,"I never liked him anyways" whoa man, get yourself a good lawyer just for that reason alone!

ay.. its levine albert again... i know i drive a sweet leprechaun house...i know im harfords last standing og... i know i play dumb so i dont have to drive thetruck or engine... but i fly airplanes whith my eyes closed. patterson is a good round mushy muffin man... his kid wasnt home when the guns were found.. they were being cleaned thats why they were out in the open... hes on injury a.. and he was working at cabellas..so what. not being able to fight a fire is different from standing behind a desk showing people guns. mike queeno..dennis murray... kurt cavenaugh...desiray dingle.... rick gavro... jerry bancroft... rory wentworth.. harry barret..sr. and jr... tyler neilson.. bill kerr.. bobby flanagan...mike rogan..jaimie mitchell... bob scully... helene lynch... have all collected from fake a injuries without investigation... why? because they are all the correct color. and the list goes on..shall i continue? the city has hired the children of chiefs...officers and firefighters even though the kids did not live in the city.which was a requirement to apply... surplus kid... dumonts kid... bradys kid.. sharkevich kids.. barrets kid... shapiros kid..depershios kid... all hired as city residents when none of these people have lived in the city...ever!. why? because they are the right color..and their daddys are in positions of power.. and this list goes on... shall i continue?
The city hired these people because they needed someone who could both read and write on the job.
Yeah, and living in a city homeless shelter when you were recruited by then Chief of Dept. John B. Stewart (who just had to have a firehouse named after him, even though he's still alive) makes you a qualified city resident. And didn't the same shelter throw you out once they found out you had a job with the Fire Dept. and could afford a place to reside?

For Tic tac toe....like I said before...get a life. and for the one who's writing for Levine, if you want to go the other way, fine, then here's the list for you, Stewart..you think he got hired for his brains, or making speeches, I don't think so, same with Bill Smith, Teale,Milner, Harris, Dobson, Graves...most of these guys weren't hired because they were the brightest, so, I'm guessing they were hired because they were the right race, and some of them were politely involved, because they certainly couldn't do the job.

What's now comical is that Patterson is never for a loss of words unless of course he is stuffing his face with a BIG MAC and now that he is in trouble he lets a white woman do his talking for him. Probably going to have to sell some of those guns to pay the bill,unless of course you qualified for a public defender now that your on WC.
