According to the State of CT, Dept. of State, there's no entity by that name.

Anonymous said...: My computer couldn't handle the download, due to the size, but I did scroll down and see enough of it to notice that most of the donations were from people/businesses who have benefited from Pedro's "largesse"...and most of those live out of town or out of state. Rabbi Lazowski's baby boy Alan (LAZ Parking) kicked in a grand; now there's a surprise.

I saw on a Facebook thread yesterday that a group of Segarra-boosters are rabidly crying "Pedro for governor!", including that paid hack with zero integrity, Sindland. She's also touting his wonderful record: Balancing the budget! Crime rate down! Graduation rate up! Every one of those items has been either proved false, or has been skewed by ignoring the real facts.

One of Segarra's main missteps has been underestimating the intelligence of the people of Hartford. Yeah, just throw a "fact" out there, and the voters will believe it because it came from the city. Not this time, Pedro. Not any more...; April 30, 2015 at 7:20 AM

The first person listed is a Helene Figueora. She once was a pretty good pitcher for the Yanks. She won the Cy Young in 1976, but now Helene is a csea/seiu union "organizer." Whether Pedro represents the unions or not, at least this activist must believe he won't act against their interests. If and when Judge Killian raises any money I'm betting there will be precious little from public sector union guys.; April 30, 2015 at 8:06 AM

Anonymous said...: This file is too big, couldn't download it, but I was able to browse through the lists of contributors to the campaign of caviar. There're no everyday people there, most of them don't even live in Hartford, some live in Florida, Maryland, Arizona or DC.

Anonymous said...: Konover own a lot of commercial properties in Hartford. For example 833 Park St., 841 Park St., 851 Park St., 863 Park St. are called Zion Park Association, but it's most likely owned by Konover Residential of West Hartford. Look at the taxes they pay for all those properties - residential and stores - so why not throw $1,000 from each member of the Konover family towards Segarra campaign. In my opinion this is what's cooking here.
