BRIDGEPORT MAYOR JOE GANIM, AND CANDIDATE FOR GOVERNOR, ON "WE THE PEOPLE"

Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim was our guest on "We the People" Monday for an hour long discussion about his primary run for Governor of Connecticut. Nothing was off limits and Mayor Ganim talked candidly about being a convicted felon, his experiences as Mayor of Bridgeport, his ideas for Connecticut as well as his thoughts on Tolls, the Income tax and the opioid crisis. It was an interesting hour.

Ganim should be governor. Anything is better then the same crap. I dont envy the job. The state is a mess. Wastefull spending and large pensions like that 129k a year sean spell gets from hartford. Greed. Greed. Greed.

5;46am Hartford pensions have nothing to do with the Governor or the State. those negotiations are conducted on the local level

Ganim as a Felon can't buy or own a fire arm, would not even be looked at for a job at the post office, would not be allowed to drive a school bus
Why would anyone want to make him the govenor? His crime was corruption, misuse of his power and office and questionable finances.

While everyone is hating people with pensions, people who have at least been to work in some capacity,
Why is there not at least equal outrage by the people and politicians against the pension plan called welfare and social services that generations of families have been on. Working peoples pensions are not what's killing America's economy.

9:31 am Did I miss the part where Eddie Perez showed any remorse for his crimes? It has nothing to do with race even though you want to make it that. Ganim had several years of Freedom taken away from his life for his crimes, Eddie Perez wasn't held accountable for anything with even one day in jail.

Ok let me go and steal and rape and kill and I will show remorse after I do jail time. Will you then vote for me Kevin?

Eddie Perez was innocent . It was all a witch hunt. It was fake news!!!

Probably not, my vote and who I give it to is important to me. And because I can sit down and have a civilized conversation with someone I may disagree with does not signify my endorsement or even my vote. Don't jump to conclusions

It's ok, Mr. Brookman. Hippocrates was a Greek physician and the man whose name is evoked every time a doctor takes his or her oath to help others. Quite a compliment to you, in my opinion. On the other hand, a closed minded, hateful person of any color who posts on this blog thinking their angry opinion is fact is a "hypocrite".

Kevin loses all credibility endorsing this guy the fact that he is even an option goes to show how far this state an country has fallen smh

10:53AM. where do you see an endorsement? other than the fact that we gave Mayor Ganim an opportunity to get his message out. And yes I did find him credible, but there was no endorsement.
