Sad commentary on a sad city. But hope remains, Hartford you can still pull it out on November 8th.

with so many involved in the political process being criminals,corrupt and morally/ethically challenged,or incompetant, it is no wonder Hartford is in the shape it is in.

I agree totally. Originally, I wouldn't comment but to see our residents have some of the most inapproriate people representing them is an extremely sad situation.

I am waiting to see if any of them have the balls (since they are all men)to make Adam Cloud get rid of his wife out of the Treasurer's Office.

If and when there is a strong Democratic Town Committee (people who have the interest of the City as their goal) rather than those who are looking for jobs for their relatives and friends we will always wind up with this type of leadership.

Now that Pedro has won, he will make Mr Angel Morales,a known public felon, the head of Youth Services for his hard work as a paid campaign staffer for Pedro.

Mr Morales was highlighted by this blog some months ago as dancing in his navy blue boxers before a mentally challenged teenage boy in the pricacy of his campaigh office late at night when no one was around.The boy ran out and contacted his mother who called the police.On another night,Angel also accosted Pedro's teenage nephew at the library on Main Street..and Pedro knows this.

Seems Angel has the perfect qualifications for this new city hall job.

If that is true, and I know personally that most of what you said is factual.

I am awaiting a comment or an explanation from Mayor Segarra if this is in fact true.

I am awaiting a hopefully favorable decision from FOI regarding documents that will provide much more information about Angel Morales past behavior.
