AIR TANK REPORT RELEASED IN FIREFIGHTER BELL DEATH

Here is the recently released report on the status of Scott Air Packs recovered from the fire site of the  first line of duty death of the Hartford Fire Department death in over 40 years.

More on this later this weekend after I have the time to read the report.

The report does nothing to change what honest hard working FF's know. Bell was knocked unconscious and left to die. The report states that his pack was slightly slow in sounding it's alarm, not that the alarm wasn't working. The official report written by his officer states that his alarm was going off and that they were crawling out together. Which means that he did not run out of air without knowing about it. If the officers report was true then they had no more than 20ft. to crawl out together with the alarm sounding. So how did his officer make it out of the building and to his truck without knowing where Kevin was. It's bullshit, and the stories to try and disgrace him have been bullshit. He died because of lousy firefighting and a coward of an officer. No bad tox, no real equipment issues. Eventually even a Danny boy like you will eventually see what really happened unless you are not the PRO HARTFORD man that you claim to be.

Interesting, very interesting. Wondering if the officer's report is true.
The truth must come out and it will. Sooner or later- it will.

Now Huertas is crying like a little girl that he needs an Ass Fire Chief. Carlos, you've had one Ass., Terry Waller, that you appointed or forced to appoint. Now Terry is enjoying his time on Terry Rd., doing nothing and getting paid.

He had Shapiro and had him doing absolutely nothing the entire time he was acting assistant chief! Huertas micro manages everything and doesn't trust anyone. He himself is to blame for the departments failures.

1. This report is dated January 28th. Why is it just being released now?

2. Will Bell's family sue Charlie Huertas personally or just the city?

It doesn't matter who is with Huertas, he's a man without character, he doesn't know how to command, he can't even look at you in the eyes. He's a bad chief, just like the mayor who gave him this job ( if you can call that guy "mayor" )

whoever gonna be sued will subpoena the tox report, see what's in it. Why is it sealed if there's nothing to hide.

Hey Brookman

Why won't you post anything that supports Charlie, I thought you were supposed to be a credible person. Or is that only if what you read is what you want to hear. By the way, in case you were going to use violence as an excuse, the truth is the getting even.

Now that we have a clearer picture there should be a new Captain, PO. and Dep. Aide, all by demotion.

Huertas Must go. And so is Segarra. Hartford needs a new start, new ideas, new blood, professionalism, transparency, accountability.

What's there to support Charlie the "great leader"

In order to run The Fire Department properly the Department needs two AC's to help in dealing with the issues in the fire department. Oh by the way do you know what Terry's reason is for being out of work. You are right and no one disagrees with you that Terry was a bad fit. He is gone now lets move on.

Terry is OUT indeed, after a lot of pressure, after his failings. Don't you think he should have necer been IN? Isn't Carlos the one to blame?

Charlie confirmed to us that he is not qualified to be our fire chief, so there is nothing good or bad to write about him any more.

At some point people who take promotions have to be responsible for those positions. The city pays a lot of supervisors that can't supervise because they don't know there job and are afraid. The fires in Windsor Locks are a little easier than the ones in Hartford. The fires in Hartford don't go out unless you put them out.

Hartford taxpayers and Kevin Bell's family will never know the truth. There is so much
corruption in the Mayor and Hartford Fire Departments that the real story is buried. Politicians are all about power and are greedy. Let's face it Terry Waller and Saundra Kee Borges have their treasure chest lined with Hartford Gold. Pedro and Charlie could care less about Hartford residents and their pockets are lined with Hartford Gold too.
