SEGARRA:BRONIN DOESN'T HAVE THE EXPERIENCE TO BE MAYOR

So much is being said during this campaign that isn't being checked to see if the statements are factual. Pedro Segarra seemed to be making quite a lot during the recent Fox 61 debate about his challengers experience.

That made me wonder, what was Segarra's experience to qualify to become Mayor? If my recollection serves me, Pedro Segarra was a bankrupt lawyer who was also being investigated by the Lawyers Statewide Grievance Committee for a complaint of fleeceing his former lover and client, John Mendez of over $100,000, all documented. To see the documentation  for the Segarra bankruptcy filing, click here http://wethepeoplehartford.blogspot.com/2015/08/who-is-peter-segarra.html

Is that really the experience we want from a Mayoral candidate? Does a bankruptcy, financial mismanagement and ethics violations qualify a candidate to be a good Mayor?

I personally think that Luke Bronin's work experience, including his militaryexperience, time in the Malloy Administration and time with the Obama Administration carries a lot more weight than Pedro Segarra's record of ripping people off. I am not sure how Segarra feels he has any credibility when he has to face some of the same people he saddled with debts that he walked away from his financial reponsibility and filed bankruptcy.

Yes, I guess experience does matter, and Pedro Segarra's experience is all bad, but then again it may explain an awful lot when we look at Hartford's budget deficits. Mayor Segarra is using the experience from his personal life to run Hartford the same way. Can bankruptcy be far off for our City?

Why not give Luke a chance to run the city the city is full of inexperienced individuals in management positions such as Jason Sutherland, hartford fired fireman convicted felon 98 shooting conviction, 2006 drug and gun charge conviction if this guy can become a boss in the city than anybody can yeah anybody can do whatever they want in the city.Kevin can you look into this there are so many people more experience than this excon! Google him!

Bronin is also a Rhodes Scholar which means he is a very intelligent man. That will come in handy when he has to untangle Hartford's mess when he becomes mayor. Some people may think I am a bit presumptuous in assuming that he will become mayor but I think the handwriting is clearly on the wall.

It takes years of experience to be able to pack city hall with the friends and family of your supporters. It takes years of experience to bre able to come up with an excuse for everything. It takes years of experience to be able to say with a straight face that the streets are covered in snow because people from the suburbs clean their cars off in Hartford. It takes years of experience to negotiate a ballpark deal that mortgages our future to make some white out of town developers even richer. It takes years of experience to destroy HPD while saying public safety is your top priority. It takes years of experience to steal from the schools while saying education is your top priority. It takes years of experience to bankrupt the city while smiling and saying things have never been better. Experience matters. Bronin has no experience with any of this. How can he ever hope to be a mayor as good as Pedro?

Segarra is a phony, he says NOTHING about his accomplishments (maybe because he can only think about his ribbon cutting on the sidewalk in the Northend of Hartford). He has nothing to say about himself being so great, only that his background is humble, yet he lives in a MANSION, yet when election time comes around he says he is from humble background. He is a true phony, even choosing his city council candidates; who is this Woulfe? Where did he come from? Where the hell did he come from? Out of the blue this nobody is going to run for City Council? What a contradiction, this must be a bad joke. Has anyone walked on Park Street lately? Does it look like Front Street? Park street has been there for many many years and n opting has changed. It took only 5 years for Front Street to develop. Now he wants his people that he NEGLECTED to vote for him now because "he comes from a humble background just like them?" Guess what Pedrito, we are not STUPID. We want CHANGE, even if we have take a chance with the gringo, we will, we have nothing to lose.

Kevin, funny I was watching the video on the debate, and all I was hearing from the Mayor was that Bronin, you don't have the experience...and I thought to myself, Mayor, you wouldn't have become Mayor if it weren't for Perez getting arrested, you were just some flunky working in City Hall, know had ever heard of you before, and what experience did you ever have before becoming Mayor. In my opinion Bronin held his ground, and did very well in the debate. I've been seeing on different facebook pages that the Mayor has been enjoying his Campaign Cookouts..Enjoy them now Mayor, it maybe your last meals.

Didn't Edwin Vsrgas, Jr. file a lawsuit against Pedro Segarra in late 2011 (docket# HHD-CV11-6026640-S; Kennelly & Assoc. of Trumbull St. represented Pedro).
I just call this EXPERIENCE.

Didn't Warnelly Martinez file a lawsuit against Pedro Segarra and the law office of Segarra & Associates (yes, his "successful" law firm. who were the "associates" in his law firm?) in mis 2012 (docket# HHD-CV-12-6033048-S; Seligman of Washington St. represented Pedro & his law office).
I just call this EXPERIENCE.

Was there any action taken by the Statewide Grievance Commuttee against Pedro Segarra related to his malpractice (case# 11-0677)?
I just call this EXPERIENCE.

Pedro Peter Caviar Segarra definitely has experience, experience running Hartford to the ground.
Pedro Peter Caviar Segarra and his experience taught us all how NOT to run a city. Any city.

Our beloved mayor got some experience: Getting rid, dumping, his campaign directors. First he had that guy Patrick Rimano, I believe he was caught dealing with porn. Then he had that other guy, Michael Beckendorf, I believe that was the one involved in "doing mushrooms". Now there's another guy, a professional manipulator, just like his boss.
This Segarra can't choose wisely his own campaign people, I don't expect him to choose wisely anyone.

Experience, experience, experience. With all the experience he has, or at least he claims to have, how a moron like Segarra appoints a moron such as Tom Deller the Seller to his current job, how a moron like Segarra appoints a moron such as Huertas to his current job. The list goes on and on.

I heard the his current campaign manager is a bully. His specialty is bullying women in the campaign staff. The mayor turns a blind eye to this. Just goes to show he has no respect towards women.

8:18, He has no respect to anyone but himself and his own agenda. Period. That's his culture, that's how he operates.

Every department and each and every agency in the City of Hartford is headed by the most unprofessional, inexperienced, unqualified and dysfunctional individuals you can get.
They were all chosen by Pedro Segarra.

BREAKING NEWS:

Hartford was selected as one of the worst real estate markets in the country, thanks to Segarra, his "experience" and foolishness.

At least we get Segarra's stupidity at no additional charge. Free stupidity.

Yo Pedro, I just saw your stupid TV commercial, saying you know what it is to go hungry, you know what it is to be homeless. Tu are no homeless in your million dollar mansion on the 700's block on Prospect among the wealthiest in the West End. You don't go hungry eating caviar snd spending thousands of dollars, thousabds of dollars of taxpayers money on luxury, expensive restaurants.

A report tonight on CBS titled
"2015's HEALTHIEST HOUSING MARKET"
ranked Hartford at #295 out of 300 cities that were evaluated. Miserable, painful result, and costly as well. Shame on you Pedro Segarra.

Pedro hungry? Pedro homeless? No kidding, he may be sleeping outside in his heated drive thru eating what else, caviar.

Anonymous said...

I'm sure Pedro is hungry. Hungry for caviar. After all, he hasn't eaten caviar since he was caught by Mr. Brookman.

What a crass and ignorant comment from an obvious disgruntled, passed over city employee. I believe in 2nd chances as do most CITY RESIDENTS. You probably are one of those suburbanites with NO SKIN IN THE GAME blowing a bunch of hot air!

Carlos Huertas announced some new promotions today apparently to beef up the fire prevention unit. What took him so long? He wasted no time thanking Segarra and the council less than three weeks before the primary election.

KEVIN BROOKMAN said...

Chief Huertas didn't thank me? I am told this posting forced the issue to the top of the list http://wethepeoplehartford.blogspot.com/2015/08/why-all-fires.html.

You are welcome Carlos
