When your party consists of arrogant attorneys, thier spouses and punk leaders, of course they order caviar. They believe that they are above the rules and have no common diginity. Maybe the city cabinet should host a soup kitchen and see how many $707 can really feed.
Question: How is "business-related meal" being defined by the auditors and the city? I work for the city. I often work through lunch. I often stay late. The city never picks up the cost of my meals. How much business entertainment does a city treasurer need to do, to incur such frequent charges at Hartford restaurants?
You're not alone, RegularGuy. Picking up your own tab and working hard should be the norm in city service. But when you're as megalomaniacal as Kupiec, you do what you want with no regard for whether you're bringing down your boss (and the city you leech off of) in the process.
THE OPINIONS EXPRESSED ON THIS BLOG ARE STRICTLY THAT, MY OPINIONS.After getting fed up with the lack of openness in Hartford City Hall, I decided to begin a program on Hartford Public Access Television called "WE THE PEOPLE". Through tips received we have been able to expose numerous issues that the Perez Administration would prefer to keep quiet.
